The store offers aviation enthusiasts and TAP customers the opportunity to purchase unique products that reflect the Portuguese airline’s identity and history, based on multiple partnerships with other Portuguese brands. Despite its potential, there was a need to attract more traffic to TAP’s ‘Big World’ and convert visitors into loyal customers, which required an online transformation strategy.
The integration of the TAP Store into the Miles&Go system was one of the stages of this ambitious project, which resulted in a more complete and personalized shopping experience for TAP customers.
With the implementation of a new intuitive, sophisticated and secure interface, and the integration of Cloudflare to guarantee the platform’s security and performance, the TAP Store has reached new heights, increasing the redemption of miles and the average value of orders. The logistics module has also been fully adapted to the company’s operations, reinforcing the quality of the entire service.
Today, customers can quickly access to TAP Store, whether on mobile, desktop or tablet, benefiting from sophisticated, simpler, faster and more intuitive navigation.
Using icons, arrows, typography and numbers at a bigger scale, we designed a digital journey inside the aviation world. Photography shaped as window planes, headlines, departures and arrivals tickers that resemble airport wayfinding, or even a shopping cart simulating a plane ticket, they all take us to a place we all know and love.
